Architectural models has yet to become well known in Vietnam, even in the real construction world. Since the college days working as a freelancer for the prominent NEWSA Model company, Thach had realized that he was learning a new subject that was overlooked in the classes. He soon had chances to get real-hand experiences in big projects of creating models for remarkable construction and couldn’t resist the special feeling of seeing tangible and lively objects made appeared by himself.
“To be honest, I preferred working to studying at that time. There have been couples of times I decided to quit, but I am convinced now that architectural model is my truly lifetime career”, said architect Thach.
That sense of “lifetime career” pushed Thach to chase his passion again, after a break due to the fall of property market. In 2012, he decided to renew his previous small brands into a brand new company which he loves to call ArtTech. The name is inspired by what he has always cherished in all those years: each architectural model should be a perfect harmony between Arts and Techniques.
Modeling industry has been developed long ago in many countries in the world, meanwhile its market in Vietnam is still nascent. Some people deliberately took advantage of the developing market to push the price up arbitrarily. Having been concerned about that fact, Thach and his team had focused on researching and proclaimed a clear price list for each type of models, aimed to ensure their customers’ rights. That exclusive detailed price list also helped ArtTech to win various of major modeling projects, given that their offered price is based on specific units and always reasonable, with a high standard of service qualities.
“We can not foretell anything when the recovery signs of property market are not really feasible. However, I once again decided to go with the career about what I’m passionate, and I am firm this time that I chose the right path”, Nguyen Van Thach shared.
